Unit 3 «OUR SYSTEMS” En esta unidad conoceremos los aparatos y órganos implicados en la función vital de relación ( órganos de los sentidos, sistema nervioso y aparato locomotor); los aparatos implicados en la función de nutrición; el aparato circulatorio y el aparato respiratorio: sus órganos y características; la función de reproducción; y cómo cambia nuestro cuerpo y nuestro desarrollo emocional a lo largo de la vida. En esta ficha se recoge el vocabulario y las estructuras que el alumnado debe aprender junto con unos enlaces de vídeos que serán de utilidad para repasar los contenidos estudiados. |

* We have five senses and each sense has an organ. We use our senses to recognise what is happening around us. (Tenemos cinco sentidos y cada uno tiene un órgano. Usamos nuestros sentidos para reconocer que está sucediendo a nuestro alrededor). * The nervous system is made up of the brain, the spinal cord and the nerves. (El sistema nervioso está formado por el cerebro, la médula espinal y los nervios). * Our senses work together with our nervous system and our locomotor system in the life process of interaction. (Nuestros sentidos trabajan junto con nuestro sistema nervioso y nuestro aparato locomotor en la función vital de interacción). * Our locomotor system makes our body move. It’s made up of bones, joints and muscles. It uses nutrients from food and oxygen to work. We use our locomotor system to move, eat and speak. (Nuestro sistema locomotor hace que nuestro cuerpo se mueva. Está formado por los huesos, las articulaciones y los músculos. Usa los nutrientes de la comida y el oxígeno para funciona. Usamos nuestro sistema locomotor para movernos, comer y hablar). * Our circulatory system is a part of the process of nutrition. It carries nutrients from the food we eat and oxygen from the air we breathe around the body. It’s made up of the heart, blood and blood vessels. (Nuestro sistema circulatorio es un parte del proceso de nutrición. Transporta los nutrientes de la comida que comemos y el oxígeno del aire que respiramos por todo el cuerpo. Está formado por el corazón, la sangre y los vasos sanguíneos). * Oxygen enters our blood through the respiratory system when we breathe in. Then, the carbon dioxide we don’t need leaves our body when we breathe out. (El oxígeno entra en nuestra sangre a través del aparato respiratorio cuando inspiramos. Luego, el dióxido de carbono que no necesitamos sale de nuestro cuerpo cuando exhalamos). * The respiratory system is made up of the nostrils, the trachea, the bronchi and the lungs. (El sistema respiratorio está formado por los orificios nasales, la tráquea, los bronquios y los pulmones). * Our reproductive system allows us to have babies. Men and women have different reproductive systems. (Nuestro aparato reproductor nos permite tener bebés. Los hombres y las mujeres tienen sistemas reproductivos diferentes). * We all change and grow older. We are children, then adolescents, then adults and then elderly. (Cambiamos y crecemos. Somos niños, adolescentes, adultos y ancianos). |
