* Nutririon is a combination of processes which supply our body with the building materials and energy we need to live. (La nutrición es una combinación de procesos que aportan a nuestro cuerpo los materiales y energía que necesitamos).
* There are four processes involved in nutrition: digestion, respiration, circulation and excretion. (Hay cuatro procesos que intervienen en la nutrición: digestión, respiración, circulación y excreción).
* Digestion is the process of breaking down food into nutrients. (La digestión es el proceso de transformar la comida en nutrientes).
* The digestive system consists of the digestive tube and the helper glands. (El aparato digestivo está formado por el tubo digestivo y las glándulas anejas).
* The respiration is the process by which we inhale to obtain the oxygen and exhale to expel the carbon dioxide. (La respiración es el proceso por el cual inhalamos para conseguir oxígeno y exhalamos para expulsar el dióxido de carbono).
* The respiratory system consists of the air passageways and the lungs. (El aparato respiratorio está formado por las vías respiratorias y los pulmones).
